When purchasing acrylic display rack materials, you must emphasize to the dealer that they must be of high purity, otherwise the purchased materials may melt during engraving or cutting. Acrylic is the most commonly used engraving and processing material second only to wood. It is easy to cut and engrave. Acrylic comes in a variety of shapes and sizes, and the cost is relatively low. Engraving acrylic generally adopts the back-engraving method, which means that it is engraved from the front and viewed from the back, which makes the finished product more three-dimensional.

When engraving the back of the acrylic display stand, please mirror the figure first, and the engraving speed should be fast and the power should be low. If the power is too high during engraving, uneven stripes will appear on the bottom surface. If you want to engrave deeper, try engraving several times. In the case of back carving, for partial coloring, the coloring should be carved deeper, and then flame polished before filling. If it is not polished, the color seen from the front will not be uniform.

Acrylic display stand cutting is relatively easy to cut. If the customer's requirements are not high, it can be delivered after cutting without flame polishing. Otherwise, the blowing device should be used when cutting to improve the quality of the cut. When cutting acrylic that exceeds 8mm, a large-size lens should be replaced. After cleaning and engraving, you can use a damp cloth to clean the surface. Acrylic pigments can be used for coloring, other pigments may destroy the finish of acrylic!

2. Production process of acrylic display rack materials

There are two production processes for acrylic display rack materials, namely casting and calendering. The laser engraving machine mainly uses the casting method to produce acrylic, because the frosting effect it produces after laser engraving is very white, which is in sharp contrast with the original transparent texture. The acrylic produced by the calendering method is still transparent after laser engraving. There is not a sufficient contrast effect.
